Drowing in the worlds sadness
Artist comment: Well, the amont of times I changed the idea for this is just unbelieve able. At frist I was going to draw HougYoku in a city. Then I was going to draw her with wings falling off a building, then just in teh dark with feathers. Then I got this idea. Best explain it cause it doens't fully repersent the song ( [link] ) Though the song has an up beat rytem to it. It repeats things comming to an end, and such. So I thought about reality of the world. Basicly people say that the world is going to be flooded and stuffs
Here enders the picture. At the worlds end it will be covered in water (My view). Idk what people think of that ._.; but it does kinda go with the song...
Lessons learned: Backgrounds should be done before Characters.
Layers: 58
Hours: 11 Hours
Tools used: pen sketch, Wacom tablet, Photoshop CS2

I advise doing backgrouds before hand so that you have a better idea of where the light is comming from. You can also use colours used in the background on your characters, and while shading your characters featured you can add tot he background. I think it makes things a little bit easier <3
